This is a fully planned lesson which includes a lesson plan, powerpoint, activities and stretch and challenge material. This was successfully deployed, by myself, as part of an interview and includes the ‘mini teach’ section for an interview. The lesson was fed back as outstanding. There is plenty of opportunity to adapt this to any of the examination boards but this was designed as part of the AQA Specification for Philosophy A Level. This lesson introduces the definitions of democracy and looks at the importance of democracy too. It has a full lesson/lecture on the PowerPoint and comes with a simple worksheet. This is a short introduction lesson and can be incorporated into a longer lesson or stand alone as a 35min period. The tasks are simple and adaptable and eases the students in to the nature of the topic. Designed for AS Government & Politics but easily adaptable for Citizenship, Sociology or other Social Science subjects.

A couple of information sheets that link in with Conformity part of the Psychology syllabus - summation of several key studies across the sheets. There is an information sheet, with pictures, for each aspect of outlined in the title. You could use them for any of the examination boards.
